NEW April events open for registration soon (Mar 1).
Each Career Highlight event is a small (30 to 40 students), three-hour class focusing on one specific health care career area. Classes are focused on junior-high and high school students (7th grade / age 13 or older).
Pre-registration is required and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited to five students per school or group, and they do tend to fill up quickly. Act now if you are interested!
Registration Opens Mar 1:
April 21 | Surgeon Career Highlight | 9 a.m.-12 p.m.| Providence Portland Medical Center
April 22 | Paramedic/EMT | 9 a.m.-12 p.m. | American Medical Response (Portland)
There are also still a few spots left in this one:
Mar. 7 | Radiation Oncology | 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. | Providence St. Vincent Medical Center
These classes are open to students from registered group member families.
If you would like your students to participate in one or more of these events, please reply to this email for sign-up details. If you are not sure whether you are registered but would like to attend, don’t worry -- we can check for you. Please include in your email the students’ names and grade levels (or ages).
